Achill Lodge is an AA 4 star rated guesthouse. It is a Bord Failte award winner in 2005-2006. It is a newly constructed guesthouse overlooking Galway bay.

It has the highest standard of comfort for our guests. All rooms are spacious, with large en-suite bathrooms.

It has cable TV, free wifi, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dyers. It is lavishly laid out and comfortable throughout. It features orthopaedic beds, most rooms have views of Galway bay. Achill Lodge is a non-smoking home.

Relax in our comfortable guests lounge decorated to a high standard or on our balcony, both overlooking Galway Bay. Our bedrooms are spotlessly clean a prerequisite to being awarded 4****

We have an extensive breakfast menu, and off street car parking for our guests. Salthill is one of Ireland's most visited holiday destinations. A suburb of Galway city, there is a beautiful promenade stretching two an a half miles long from the edge of the town to the heart of Galway city where visitors and locals stroll in the evening and watch the sun go down on Galway bay.

Achill Lodge is on the main scenic coast road (R336) to Connemara/ Aran Islands. We have a vast knowledge of Ireland and we are full of helpful advice to guests on where to go to experience the best of our beautiful country. Bus tours to Connemara and the Burren can be booked on arrival. Tour companies will collect guests from B&B on morning of tour.

We also book and supply tickets to the Aran Islands- wait to book in the morning and see how the weather looks. We also book tee-times at any numerous golf clubs locally.
